Tridays '09

I love me some T300 Triumphs!

This one isn't from Tridays, but it fits the theme, so here it is.

All photos above were borrowed from Rocket Garage.

Schwinntastical.

The old Schwinn is back in the game. I installed the 3 pc crank back in spring, and I finally got around to buying new tubes, tires, grips, and pedals today.

Axis of Justice Radio.

Apparently this show has been around for a while, but it has just recently started broadcasting on Sirius XM's Faction channel. Tune in on sunday nights from 9pm-10pm to hear it. It's hosted by Tom Morello of RATM and Audiobore fame. Tonight was my first time hearing it, and he played some good shit! Refused, Johnny Cash, C.W. McCall, Arcade Fire, P.J. Harvey, Steve Earle, Anti Flag, RATM, and Joe Strummer just to name a few. "Rebel music" is the name of the game. Check it out!

Chris' America

I really like the his use of one off fabbed stuff here. The bike still retains an overall stock look, but has a lot of nice details.

People Watching = Hours of Fun.

The shop I work for has a booth at this weekends "Stars and Stripes Festival" in Mt. Clemens, MI. For those of you non Detroiters, this suburb is considered part of the east side. The east side is sort of known for being a little on the white trash, redneck side. Here are a few examples of the fine specimen you may find while on the east side...

No matter where you go, you're always gonna see "that guy"...

Check out the hot stud back there rockin' the beer gut and the epic "skullet"... One word... GNARLY!

Then there was this classy young lady...

And last, but definitely not least is this thing. I'm really not sure what it is, but it's gotta be one of the most amazing things ever captured during any of my people watching extravaganzas! Keep in mind that I did live in Daytona Beach for a while and never did I see something quite this good.

Jesse James Set a LSR of 199.712 Last Week

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. Successfully supported Jesse James in shattering the land speed record for a hydrogen powered vehicle. On June 16, 2009, Jesse James clocked 199.712 mph in the hydrogen 'Streamliner' at El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in the Mojave Desert, to beat the world record holder, the BMW H2R, which had attained 186 mph in Germany. This historic event will be shown as the season one finale of "Jesse James Is A Dead Man" premiering on Sunday, August 9 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on Spike TV.
Jesse James' record setting run was supported by 24 Quantum hydrogen injectors that fuelled an 8-cylinder engine that was optimized to yield 704 HP. Quantum's patented fuel injector has been designed, tested and validated specifically for precision fuel metering and durable service with cleaner burning, dry gaseous fuels such as hydrogen and natural gas. With several years of R&D, Quantum's gaseous fuel injectors are featured in Ford's hydrogen internal combustion engine vehicles and Prius and Escape hydrogen hybrid electric vehicles developed by Quantum. Shooo das all you had to say! Iss on in da mo-nin!

Lee Iacocca Mustang Introduced Today

Forty-five years after he introduced the original Ford Mustang; which no one really knows, launched at a press conference at the 1964 New York World's Fair, auto industry visionary Lee Iacocca today announced a new version of the famous muscle car – the Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang – a breathtaking vehicle that utilizes the latest in Ford performance technology with a style and panache that screams, Mustang fastback. Only 45 "2009½" Iacocca Silver Edition Mustangs – all painted a special "Iacocca" chosen silver will be built and sold at Southern California's Galpin Ford dealership, the world's largest volume Ford dealer for 19 years. No Price set just yet. Wait for the end of July. I'd take this machine over any special anniversary K car...Lee, stick to the 'stangwich, don't let them get you with the minivan either...

Star Wars Chipmunk Photos

This coincides with Davin's post today, I had to share before I share the new Mustang....Chris McVeigh, a Canadian illustrator, captured these images of wild chipmunks in hilarious situations with action figures from the Star Wars films. x

Schwinn Lawnmower

For you Greenies, Hipsters, or flat out Jabronies...The perfect emission free excercise machine...I love the fact that this is a Women's Schwinn. Perfect post gift for Mother's day.

Gross.

It's been a humid couple of days here in the Murder Mitten. It's been a fun time trying to find a cager to follow on the freeways that isn't using their A/C. The constant piss in the face from the condensation dripping from the compressors is less than ideal. I could always stop worrying about how cool I look with the 3/4 metal flake jobby on my dome and toss the full face on I guess...
